Golden Kazoo awards 2011
We announced the winners of our awards last night at Toast and I thought i would put them up here for all who missed the gig.
There was no winner of the biggest Diva award as the judging panel couldn’t decide between the many nominees.
Best poster was won by Max K for his awesome Snow White one.
Best facial hair was jointly won by Zachary Birchley and Alex Dunnett.
The nicest guy in local music was won by Chris Ratcliffe.
Most laidback person was won by Brian Brough of Tiger Years (and George Club).
Brian also appeared on the most gigs of any person in 2011 (with 18).
Most awkward moment is Thom Week’s swearing at St Michaels Mount (and at Emma Prew’s house gig).
and The Golden Kazoo for outstanding achievement in 2011 goes to Jackie Stringer for her constant help and support to us and all in local music. She’s a star.
